Auntie Margaret's Crooked House is about a fun-loving, friendly, hospitable aunt who happens to live in a crooked house. She sees and embraces life in a slightly different way than most people but she always feels good about herself and she's okay with that. This beautifully illustrated book teaches children about being kind, friendly and neighborly. It presents the idea of community and where children can fit into the world around them. About the Author:

Barb's Midwest upbringing, with its open and friendly people, was the fertile ground for birthing a character like Auntie Margaret. She grew up in Minneapolis but was living in Milwaukee when the book was born. When she's not reading, you can find Barb painting en plein air on the beautiful island of Maui where she currently lives with her husband, Jim.
