Join us for an intimate night of stories and songs, featuring A Sunken Ship Irony, Juniper Fly, D.C. Leonhardt, and Tyler Haag.
A Sunken Ship Irony has been performing across the Midwest for almost two decades, creating an emotionally charged blend of indie and folk rock. Their song “Island of Misfit Toys” was featured in the 2009 film Friends with Benefits.
June is singer, songwriter, and frontman of up and coming acoustic folk rock band Juniper Fly, a recent addition to the TC local music scene. Her writing features personal and moving lyrics inspired by experiences we all face in life with the aim of touching people’s hearts and creating a connection between us all.
Though now residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, D.C. Leonhardt was born and raised in Wyoming, a fact that sometimes makes itself plain in his music. Borrowing from the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Arlo Guthrie, Gordon Lightfoot, and Greg Brown, he plays a mix of folk and blues music focusing on labor, love, and religion — things both humorous and tragic in their own rights.
Tyler Haag is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis. His newest EP Sport will be out in late July.
