Green Card Voices’ mission is to share the stories of our nation’s 40 million immigrants and put a human face on the current immigration debate. The Green Card Youth Voices Anthology chronicles awe-inspiring and thought-provoking personal narratives that portray the diversity of the youth immigrant experience in the United States. Join us for an evening of immigrant storytelling with an introduction from Veronica Quillien, a PhD candidate in curriculum design and an immigrant from Cameroon. Featured readers will include Ìķřęm Äb Břøwň (Ethopia), Hunter De Yonka Yonis Yusuf (Kenya), and Nanah Jalloh (Sierra Leone).
