Mary Junge, Kathy Wedl, June Blumenson, and Carol Rucks are seasoned poets who write about anything and everything, drawing from birds flying by and what happened on prom day decades ago to current events, family history, and humorous moments. While these poets are often serious, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and they know how to have a good time. All four have recent books published by Kelsay Books, and each poet will read for ten minutes from her book, then the group will read round-robin style in response to selected themes.
