A Summer night at Eat My Words Bookstore with excerpts from a Minneapolis tale yet to be heard by the masses, what could be better? N. Daniel is a novelist who writes memoirs about his native Minnesota.
Born and bred in Winona County, Daniel's tales criss-cross the state and usually find him in unimaginable trouble.
After leaving his suburban office job unannounced in his first book, "Corners Untouched by Madness", Daniel walks the spiritual path, joining a group of Buddhists, befriending a Lama, having a true awakening of sorts and then being committed to a mental hospital.
In his second offering, "Burn This City to the Ground,'' Daniel turns his life around after achieving mental wellness and gets a job caring for a quadriplegic in downtown Minneapolis. Through trials and tribulations caregiver and client fight the healthcare system to stay alive at the risk of one another and their personal ideas and dreams of independence. This book promises a heart wrenching conclusion ending in the 2020 Pandemic and Minneapolis Riots. N will be reading from "Burn This City to the Ground" at the event.
N. Daniel works as a medical caregiver in the greater Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metropolitan area. His debut writing effort, “Corners Untouched by Madness: A Personal Journey of Overcoming Mental Illness,” has enjoyed modest success in certain writing circles. Its sequel, "Burn This City to the Ground", has enjoyed similar successes. N is currently working on the third book in his memoir trilogy "Returning to Madness," slated to be released sometime in 2023. The Author lives with his wife and two dogs just outside of downtown Minneapolis.
